As an emerging force among domestic brands, the Medgen team spent years quietly focused on technological innovation. With the launch of multiple independently developed technology products, Medgen Life Science has gradually gained industry recognition. After eight years of dedicated innovation, Medgen's new technology products began receiving market approvals in 2024.

BoneSwift™ — China's First Injectable Bone Graft

Medgen Life Science's independently developed BoneSwift™, China's first hydroxyapatite pre-filled bone repair material, officially received market approval in December 2024.

BoneSwift™ uses porcine bone as its material source. Through high-temperature calcination, it effectively retains the natural microporous structure of hydroxyapatite, simulating autologous bone (the gold standard) to efficiently promote cell recruitment and differentiation, delivering superior osteoinductive performance in clinical applications.

For clinical convenience, BoneSwift™ debuts as China's first pre-filled format — ready to use immediately with no on-site mixing required by surgeons. This innovation breaks through the limitations of traditional bone repair materials, achieving a leapfrog upgrade from material performance to clinical usability, offering an entirely new treatment option for patients and surgeons.

BoneSwift™ has obtained NMPA Class III medical device certification, indicated for filling extremity bone defects caused by orthopedic trauma or surgery that do not affect structural bone stability. With continued efforts from Medgen's clinical team, additional indications will be expanded through regulatory compliance pathways.

PoroGraft® — China's First Porcine-Derived Oral Bone Graft

Medgen Life Science's PoroGraft® oral bone filling material is the first domestically produced xenograft bone filling material derived from porcine bone. Since its launch in March 2025, it has filled a market gap in China for porcine-derived oral bone filling materials, offering clinicians and patients a new material choice for dental implant treatment based on the unique advantages of porcine bone composition.

PoroGraft® uses a high-temperature calcination process, with its primary component being hydroxyapatite particles derived from porcine cancellous bone. It features a unique biomimetic porous structure with rougher particle surface area compared to bovine bone, facilitating vascular cell adhesion and migration and inducing stem cell differentiation. Its calcium-to-phosphorus ratio is similar to human bone, with high biocompatibility and superior osteogenic activity, providing a material foundation closer to natural human bone for oral restoration.

Medgen PRP Preparation Device — The Versatile Performer

Medgen Life Science's independently developed Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) preparation device officially received NMPA Class III approval in December 2024, achieving a true domestic-replacing-import technology breakthrough.

The Medgen PRP Preparation Device offers excellent sealing performance with flexibly adjustable concentration ratios. By separating effective components from autologous blood, it achieves broad applicability across orthopedics, sports medicine, dental surgery, gynecology, and other multidisciplinary fields, addressing diverse clinical application needs.

More Innovations Ahead

All three core Medgen products have received national NMPA Class III medical device certification. Additional innovative technologies and products are currently in clinical registration, with new members of the Medgen product family set to continuously emerge, serving clinicians and patients across multiple medical specialties.
