What Is PRP Regenerative Therapy?

Post-Treatment Guidelines
- Avoid getting the injection site wet for 24 hours after treatment to prevent infection
- Normal activities may be resumed, but avoid strenuous exercise such as deep squats, hiking, or running
- Avoid spicy and irritating foods for two weeks; keep warm and minimize external stimulation
- Abstain from smoking and alcohol one week before and throughout the treatment period; avoid NSAIDs and corticosteroids
- Mild local pain after injection is a normal inflammatory response and typically subsides within 1–3 days. Ice packs may be applied once daily for 20 minutes if needed
