Major Project Approved
The Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Commission recently issued its notice on funded science and technology projects. Medgen's major science and technology project — "Key Technologies for Composite Materials for Artificial Tendons" — was successfully approved for project funding.
This project is the first to use non-degradable materials as a matrix while successfully introducing specific bioactive molecules that enable the material surface to interact with cell surface receptors, activate cell signaling pathways, and significantly promote cell ingrowth — effectively addressing a critical clinical bottleneck.
